In this practice, we will begin with movement and flow to get your heart pumping before settling down for a long rest with restorative poses. Starting off with movement will work to your benefit when it’s time to rest, making the come down even more sweet. Restorative postures focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system which conserves energy as it slows the heart rate, stimulates digestion and organ function promoting renewal and natural healing in the body. Postures are simple and supported with blankets and bolsters where the main focus is your comfort. Wind down your weekend the right way with this class!
