The Danville Science Center is joining forces with Ballad Brewing and the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce to present the Science of Beer! 

Have you ever taken a sip of beer and wondered why it tastes a certain way or what effect the alcohol has on your body? Why are some beers translucent and others too dark to see through? We are going to get to the bottom of these questions, and many more during our first Science of Beer! During the evening you will learn the science behind the beer making process, take a behind the scenes tour of the brewery, and see exciting demonstrations from the staff of the Science Center.

After the event is over Ballad will be hosting Trivia Night, so feel free to stick around, and see how you and your friends stack up against other teams. 

Must be 21 or older to attend.
This event is free to attend, but registration is encouraged.
