February- Science After Dark ft. Hidden Figures

February 1, 2019, the Danville Science Center will be celebrating Black History Month with a special presentation of the movie Hidden Figures, in the Digital Dome Theater. This movie tells the untold story of brilliant African American women working at NASA who served as the brains behind the launch into orbit of astronaut John Glen, a stunning achievement that turned around the Space Race. Enjoy hands-on Earth and Space activities in our lobby, access to all galleries, as well as the opportunity to travel to distant worlds during our telescope viewing session, weather permitting.
Science After Dark is from 5:30 to 9:00p.m. Seating for the movie will be on a first come, first served basis, so come early to get your tickets.
Movie Times: 5:30p.m. and 7:45p.m.
Members and college students with ID enjoy free admission to the event. Reduced general admission is $5.
